Dean Anuj Mehrotra at the Gen AI x Law: Innovations for Legal Business, Operations, and Practice

Dear Scheller Community,

At Scheller, I have always felt our industry connectedness and interdisciplinary approach is setting us apart.

This is especially evident with several notable events taking place this semester. Last month, we had a fantastic Scheller in Your City networking social in Washington, D.C. and Gen AI x Law: Innovations for Legal Business, Operations, and Practice event. Additionally, our eighth annual Marketing Innovation Conference @ Scheller was a big success, bringing together students, marketing professionals, and industry leaders to discuss the future of marketing.

This month, we are hosting two significant conferences that further strengthen our industry ties: the AI and Future of Finance Conference and the Household Finance Conference. As part of these events, we will feature special Tech Talks Business sessions open to the public, where the CEOs of Invesco, Truist, and Equifax will share insights on the evolving financial landscape.

We are also expanding access to business education in a significant way. We are pleased to have introduced Scheller’s first fully online degree program — M.S. Major in Management Online. This program is designed for individuals seeking a strong business foundation, with applications now open for Fall 2025 and Spring 2026.

Additionally, we have introduced a B.S. to M.S. pathway program in collaboration with the College of Engineering and the College of Computing. Beginning in Fall 2025, Georgia Tech Engineering and Computing students will have an accelerated path to gaining valuable business skills alongside their technical expertise.

Entrepreneurship also remains a key focus for us. We are building on the success of our incubators, CREATE-X and SUSTAIN-X, with the launch of Scale Lab. This new initiative provides mentoring tailored specifically for founders of startups that aim to be both profitable and socially or environmentally impactful.

Of course, none of our initiatives would be possible without the support of our incredible community. Professor of the Practice Bill Todd exemplifies this spirit through his establishment of the Grady Emergency Medical Technician Scholarship, which supports Georgia Tech students dedicated to emergency medical services. His generosity underscores the power of philanthropy in shaping the future of our students.

As we approach Georgia Tech Giving Day on March 11–12, I invite you to join us in elevating this tradition of support. Whether through registering as an ambassador, spreading the word, or making a contribution, your generosity will fuel transformative opportunities. Every gift, no matter the size, makes a difference.

We are continually seeking ways to ensure that every member of the Scheller community feels a true sense of belonging. Please reach out with your ideas and feedback on how we can improve, leverage our collective strength, and embody what it means to be Stellar at Scheller!

Best regards,

Anuj Mehrotra
