Tech Talks Business, sponsored by the Georgia Tech Scheller College of Business and hosted by Dean Anuj Mehrotra, kicked off on Tuesday, February 20 with a conversation featuring Georgia Tech President Ángel Cabrera.
The event, held at the Historic Academy of Medicine, drew a diverse audience comprised of students, alumni, faculty, staff, and community members. President Cabrera shared details of his journey from a first-generation student to becoming the president of Georgia Tech. He discussed the role of higher education in technology, the impact of artificial intelligence on education and society, and the evolving business landscape.
Cabrera reflected on what inspires him and how that connects to the mission and vision of Tech. He also talked about how being a part of the diverse ecosystem of Georgia Tech has made him a better decision maker.
