Dear Scheller Community,

As I completed my first semester at Scheller, a time filled with energizing discussions and activities, I was not quite sure what to expect over the summer months. While we are certainly missing the students who have graduated or are away from campus over the summer, the exciting forward momentum of the College has not slowed down! Our vibrant community engagement, groundbreaking initiatives, and the achievements of our faculty, staff, students, and alumni continue to be incredibly inspiring.

We are excited to welcome our newest Young Alumni Advisory Board members. These 13 new members have joined the board for a two-year term that brings us to 38 board members in total. I am also very much looking forward to meeting alumni from the Class of 2014 to 2024 at the oversold joint Scheller and Goizueta GOLD Alumni Summer Mixer this month.

Scheller students continue to excel, having secured summer internships at tremendous rates. Hundreds of our undergrad students and 100% of our Full-time MBA students are interning at top companies, organizations, and startups nationwide. Companies represented include Amazon, NVIDIA, Microsoft, J.P. Morgan, Bain, Delta, Nike, UPS, and more. We also remain dedicated and optimistic in helping our recent graduates achieve the job placements of their choice.

Additionally, our faculty continue to be recognized for their pioneering research and contributions to the business world. We recently launched Scheller Business Insights, a dynamic video series that highlights the innovative thought leadership of our esteemed faculty. Alex Hsu, associate professor of Finance, discussed a critical question in the inaugural video of the series: Are we in a recession?

Our College continues to engage with leading corporations through our Executive Education programs.  We recently completed the Supply Chain Leadership Program for The Coca-Cola Company and kicked off the director-level Leadership Development Program for The Home Depot.

Looking ahead, we are diligently preparing for fall faculty and staff retreats. These sessions are designed to foster collaboration and set the agenda for an innovative new academic year. We aim to discuss strategic initiatives that will further elevate our educational and scholarly impact.

There are exciting developments on the Tech Square Phase III project, with the structure of the building now visibly taking shape. This expansion will provide state-of-the-art facilities to further enhance our learning environment and community engagement. We are nearing the end of the design development phase and looking forward to the next exciting stages.

Thank you all for your ongoing commitment to making Scheller a place of excellence and community. I look forward to what we will achieve together in the coming months.

Warm regards,

Anuj Mehrotra
