Lean Six Sigma Certification
What is a Lean Six Sigma Certification?
Lean Six Sigma (LSS) is a process improvement methodology designed to eliminate waste, maximize efficiency, and drive profitability while improving the quality of service and outcomes. By learning how to apply Lean Six Sigma techniques and tools, you become an invaluable asset in your organization — regardless of your industry or function.
Georgia Tech Lean Six Sigma certification courses accommodate a variety of schedules and learning mode preferences. Students have the option to attend class online or in person at the Scheller College of Business. Each program features a combination of interactive, live instruction and dynamic and on-demand exercises. Certifications are completed in four days total.
Bob Myers, Master Black Belt, is the faculty director for Lean Six Sigma programs. He has over 20 years of classroom experience and a unique blend of corporate experience from a diverse set of industry roles. Under the guidance of him and other expert instructors, students walk away with the ability to apply Lean Six Sigma principles in the real world.
One option for completing the process improvement project is through our Lean Six Sigma Green Belt: Certification Project in Panama program, an immersive experience where students travel to Panama to work with a sponsoring Panamanian company and Georgia Tech alums. The program combines rigorous theoretical training with practical, real-world application.
After completing your coursework and project, you’ll walk away with a Green Belt or Black Belt certification from a prestigious institution and the tools you need to drive organizational transformation and personal career growth. Your LSS training and certification from Georgia Tech are valuable to Fortune 500 companies like AT&T, Coca-Cola, Michelin, Pirelli, and State Farm, which frequently send teams to learn from us.
