MBA Early Admission for Undergrads allows undergraduates from institutions nationwide to secure deferred, early decision to the Georgia Tech Scheller Full-time or Evening MBA programs.

MBA Early Admission for Undergrads allows you to plan ahead and secure admission during the final year of your undergraduate studies. Once you are admitted, you will work full-time after graduation, then enroll in our Full-time MBA program or continue working as you enter our Evening MBA program.

Undergraduate students of all disciplines can get a jump start on career plans by gaining early action to Georgia Tech Scheller’s Full-time and Evening MBA programs. Any U.S. citizen attending an accredited U.S. college or university is eligible to apply.

MBA Early Action Benefits

MBA Early Admission for Undergrads applicants receive:

An application fee waiver for your official MBA application when you are ready to enroll
An admissions interview (for applicants from our established partners)
If admitted, guaranteed admission to the Full-time and Evening MBA programs
Invitations to MBA networking events prior to enrolling in the program to build your network

You are eligible to apply for MBA early decision if you meet all of the following requirements:

You are in your final year of undergraduate study
You have a post-graduation employment offer
You have taken the GMAT, GMAT Focus, or GRE
You have attended a Full-time or Evening MBA information session
You are a U.S. citizen attending an accredited U.S. college or university

The admissions committee will consider applications without a GMAT/GMAT Focus, or GRE test score. However, a valid GMAT, GMAT Focus, or GRE score is strongly encouraged for MBA Early Admission for Undergrads candidates.

Application Deadlines

December graduates: Application due February 1
May graduates: Application due June 1
August graduates: Application due September 1

How to Apply

Submit the following information to apply. All information must be received for consideration:

MBA Early Admission for Undergrads application (including a statement of purpose, resume, employment letter, unofficial transcript, and unofficial GMAT, GMAT Focus, or GRE score report)
Two letters of recommendation (preferably one academic, one professional): Letters of recommendation may be sent via email to mba@scheller.gatech.edu from the applicant or the recommender
Submit an essay addressing quantitative readiness if applying test optional. Utilize this essay to highlight the criteria that point to evidence supporting your academic preparedness without a test score. Also include any quantitative experience in your professional and academic history that you believe has equipped you to succeed academically in the MBA program. (2,000 character limit).

Complete MBA Early Admission for Undergrads applications received by the application deadline will receive an admissions decision within eight weeks.

Submit Your Application

Work in an approved, professional position in the public, private, or nonprofit sector for a minimum of two years to enter the Evening MBA or a minimum of three years to enter the Full-time MBA.
Complete the official online MBA application by the Round 1 deadline for the semester you want to enroll.
Confirm your admission through the Full-time or Evening MBA Admitted Student Website and submit your enrollment fee to hold your place in the class.

Your admission offer is eligible for five years after graduation from your undergraduate studies. Your early admission does not require you to apply or ultimately enroll in Georgia Tech Scheller College of Business.

The Georgia Tech Scheller College of Business offers a variety of funding opportunities for the MBA program, including graduate assistantships and fellowships. Submitting your Full-time MBA or Evening MBA application by the Round 1 deadline for the semester you want to enroll in will ensure you receive first consideration for these opportunities.
