The Scheller College of Business at the Georgia Institute of Technology invites applications for a tenuretrack assistant professor position in the IT Management (ITM) Area. Preference will be given to applicants at the assistant professor level who are beginning their first faculty appointment. The anticipated start date for this position is Fall 2025. The Georgia Tech Scheller College ITM Area is composed of eleven tenured and tenure-track, and three non-tenure track faculty members. The faculty have diverse research interests including business analytics, business value of information technology, crowdfunding, fintech, IT security, platform economics, and machine learning among others. They publish in the premier journals and their work has garnered numerous scholarly awards. Qualifications and Responsibilities
Candidates should have demonstrated excellence and show potential for continued excellence in scholarly research and teaching. Those pursuing a Ph.D. should be sufficiently advanced in their doctoral work to be able to successfully complete their Ph.D. in Information Systems or related areas by July 1, 2025. These qualifications represent the minimum requirements for the position.
The successful candidate’s primary responsibilities will include teaching at both the undergraduate and graduate levels, conducting research, and providing service to the College, the Institute, and the Information Systems community. The selected candidate will be responsible for teaching three courses annually, and the salary offered is competitive with leading research universities. Candidates are expected to demonstrate an exceptional commitment to the teaching and mentoring of students.

The Strategy and Innovation area at Georgia Tech’s Scheller College of Business in Atlanta, Georgia seeks qualified applicants for one tenure-track appointment at the rank of assistant/associate professor commencing in the Fall semester of 2025 which begins in mid-August. The ideal candidate will complement our focus on strategy and innovation and have a record of outstanding empirical research demonstrating a deep understanding of econometric methods that facilitate causal inference.

The minimum requirements are a Ph.D. in Strategic Management or related areas such as economics or entrepreneurship (candidates must have their Ph.D. completed no later than June 1, 2025).
Job responsibilities include demonstrated ability to teach at the undergraduate and/or graduate level, outstanding research, and excellent recommendations. For those applying at the associate level, we also require an exemplary record of scholarly research, teaching, and service commensurate with the rank. A competitive salary will be offered, with an expected teaching load of six credit hours in the first year (AY25-26) and nine credit hours per year thereafter.

The Finance Area in the Scheller College of Business at the Georgia Institute of Technology (Georgia Tech) in Atlanta, Georgia is seeking tenure-track faculty candidates at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor of Real Estate Finance, starting in fall 2025. Beyond research and teaching responsibilities as well as service to the Institute, the faculty is expected to lead and grow the real estate program in Scheller College.
Candidates for Assistant or Associate Professor should possess outstanding potential for excellent scholarly research. Seasoned scholars should exhibit a track record of publications in the top journals in finance, economics, and real estate.
