On October 8, the Georgia Tech Scheller College of Business hosted the Women in Technology Young Professionals (WIT YoPros) at an inspiring event in The Historic Academy of Medicine. As lead sponsor of the WIT YoPros program, the event aimed to empower women to forge connections across business and STEAM fields. YoPros members, Scheller undergraduate and MBA students, alumni, faculty, and staff came together for a night of learning, networking, and inspiration.
Naomi Davis, a Google digital strategist and Scheller alumna (BSBA ’23), delivered a compelling keynote address focused on her personal and professional growth, fueled by her indefatigable "What Can't You Do?" attitude. Davis drew from her experiences working at Google and NBCUniversal where she learned to embrace challenges and push boundaries.
Following the keynote, a panel discussion, moderated by Analisa Wade (Full-time MBA ’25) featured three accomplished Scheller MBA students and alumnae: Elizabeth Baker (Evening MBA ’24), Brooke Shareé (Full-time MBA ’25), and Rachel Wiseley (Full-time MBA and M.S. in Analytics ’18). These dynamic professionals shared their experiences and insights on thriving at the intersection of business and technology. Their stories highlighted the diverse paths to success and the importance of resilience and innovation in their careers.
The evening concluded with a networking reception, where panelists and attendees had the opportunity to connect over delicious food and drinks, sharing in meaningful conversations about individual career journeys and reinforcing Scheller’s commitment to supporting women in technology and business.
