Georgia Tech has always felt like home to Trenton Gantt, Full-time MBA ’25. His uncle played on the football team in the 1980s, and his brothers received their bachelor’s degree from Tech. It was a natural decision for him to join the Scheller MBA program after serving in the U.S. Army.
He knew Scheller could provide the tools to pivot his leadership skills and engineering degree to a role in the private sector. His initial goal was to get an internship in the aerospace industry. However, plans changed when he applied for a supply chain and operations internship position at Nike and received an offer — a role he was ecstatic about.
In this episode of The Intersection Podcast, host and Full-time MBA student Analisa Wade talks with Trenton about his internship recruitment journey and experience at Scheller. He discusses overcoming rejection, connecting with his classmates during recruitment, how being a member of the MBA Veteran’s Club helped him prep for his Nike interview, and more.
