The Georgia Tech Scheller College of Business Undergraduate Program is ranked No. 10 in the nation for 2024, according to Poets&Quants. It is the only business school in the state of Georgia ranked in the top 10.
Poets&Quants is recognized for offering one of the most comprehensive evaluations of undergraduate business programs. In ranking the top programs, they looked at three key categories, with each category given a weight of 33.3 percent.
- Admissions Standards, which evaluates the quality and diversity of enrolled students
- Academic Experience, which measures a business school's capacity to nurture, challenge, and develop students
- Career Outcomes, which measures how soon after graduation undergraduate students are employed and the percentage of graduates who receive offers.
The data compiled for the 2024 rankings incorporated both school-reported data and a survey of alumni representing 91 business schools. Scheller experienced a strong showing in alumni survey results:
- Worth of cost in tuition, time, and resources: No. 1
- Academic and career advising: No. 2
- Faculty quality and accessibility: No. 3
- Career outcomes: No. 4
- Effectiveness of degree in increasing socioeconomic status: No. 4
- Likeliness to recommend: No. 5
- Alumni and business community network: No. 6
“This ranking validates the work we do each day at the Scheller College of Business,” said Craig Womack, associate dean of Undergraduate Programs. “As student enrollment, instructional quality, career outcomes, and return on investment have increased year after year, we stay anchored in our mission of nurturing leaders who make a difference at the intersection of business and technology. We are excited for everything the future holds.”
