Why did you choose Scheller College of Business?
Scheller stood out because of the unique opportunities it offers. Being in the heart of a business-driven city like Atlanta is invaluable, and the college is designed to prepare students for success in ways that really seemed to set it apart.
What concentration did you pursue and why?
I pursued a Marketing concentration because I've always been fascinated by how businesses connect with people and make an impact. It was exactly what I wanted, and learning about the strategies behind successful marketing has been one of the highlights of my time here.

Start building your network early and be intentional about forming relationships. It'll make a world of difference in the long run.
What is the biggest myth about Scheller College?
A common myth is that the classes are easy. Though I can't explain high-level engineering concepts like many of my peers, I've still been pushed to think critically and step out of my comfort zone. It's been challenging but incredibly rewarding.
As a business student in the heart of Tech Square, how do you think Scheller College embodies the intersection of business and technology?
Scheller does an amazing job of connecting business principles with technology. Many classes use real-world, tech-driven examples, which has helped me see how these industries overlap. I've also worked alongside STEM students, which gave me new insights into technology and how it complements business.
What was your favorite course and what was the biggest insight you gained about business from it?
Strategic Brand Management was my favorite course. Professor Aaron Hackett's passion for the subject really stood out, and he encouraged us to think deeply about how to create a meaningful impact through branding. His dedication to his students made Scheller a better place.
Who was your favorite professor and why?
While I've had great professors, Professor Samuel Bond was my favorite. He made Consumer Behavior engaging and accessible, and his genuine interest in his students' success was inspiring.
What activities were you involved with on or off campus, and did your business education impact those activities in any way?
I was a member and president of Delta Chi Fraternity, which has been a highlight of my college experience. The friends I made and the lessons I learned were invaluable, and my education at Scheller as well as my involvement in my fraternity, has helped me grow as a leader and person.
Where did you intern/co-op during school?
I co-oped at Cox Communications for three semesters and interned at both Coleman Talley LLP and AT&T. These experiences allowed me to apply what I learned in class in the real world as well as understand how topics in class translate to the real world.

Who would you like to thank most for your success?
My family and friends. I am incredibly fortunate to have had such a strong support system throughout my time here. I especially want to thank my mom, dad, brother, and sister for always having my back, no matter what. I couldn't have done it without them.
