Across industries, more and more businesses are demanding the technology and data skills needed to lead in a competitive and ever-changing world. That’s why in January 2023, the Georgia Tech Scheller College of Business will be launching a new, 100% online Business Analytics Graduate Certificate.
Scheller is launching this qualification to help professionals sharpen their ability to take data-driven approaches to problem-solving, regardless of the industry they operate in. “Scheller is known for its expertise in analytics, and so this is going to give students all over the world the opportunity to learn from our faculty in an online, flexible, asynchronous format,” explains Professor Robbie Moon, who teaches the certificate’s course in Analysis of Unstructured Data.
This new credential from Scheller offers interested participants the chance to harness business analytics skills from machine learning to business data preparation and visualization. In total, the program includes four courses that when completed will earn professionals a certificate from a top five business school for business analytics. If of interest to participants, select credits will also count toward a Georgia Tech MBA or Online M.S. in Analytics degree.
“There are other credentials out there related to business analytics, but not too many that carry this weight of graduate credit. So students in our course earn real graduate transcripts and real credits, giving it that much more weight when compared to the more boot camp type of courses,” Moon says.
