Scheller Faculty Beril Toktay Featured in Recent AP Article on Amazon’s Commitment to Tackling Climate Change

Amazon released its carbon footprint earlier this week and their greenhouse gas emissions are close to those of a small nation according to the article ‘Middle of the herd’ no more: Amazon tackles climate change,” by Joseph Pisani and Bani Sapra. According to Bezos, he is committed to making Amazon a forerunner in the move to become carbon neutral by 2040. In the article, Toktay discusses the company’s strategy. “It’s very comprehensive,” said Beril Toktay, professor of operations and supply chain management at Georgia Tech’s Scheller College of Business.
