Georgia Tech is ranked No. 17 in “Top 30 Pre-College Summer Programs For 2019,” according to College Consensus, an online college and university ranking and information site.
According to the site, “One of the best ways to get to know what it’s like to attend college is to actually do so. Many schools offer the opportunity for high school students to attend summer sessions, but some do it better than others.”
College Consensus looked at institutions offering college credits, mentorships, on-campus residential housing, and scholarships. “Pre-college summer programs help students establish relationships with mentors, which can be key to a successful college experience,” its editors wrote. Georgia Tech is the only public school in Georgia to be ranked.
