International M.S. Major in Management Students

Georgia Tech considers you an international applicant if you are not a U.S. citizen or U.S. permanent resident, regardless of where in the world you live. We strongly encourage all international M.S. Major in Management applicants to submit application materials early to expedite the admissions process.

International Application Materials

The admissions criteria applied in evaluating international applicants are essentially the same as those for U.S. citizens. All application materials, including transcripts and recommendations, must be submitted online and in English. You may also be required to submit official English Proficiency Scores (TOEFL or IELTS), translated academic transcripts, and financial documents if applying for a student visa.

STEM Designation

The M.S. With a Major in Management program is not currently STEM designated. There are plans to work towards STEM designation for the Fall 2025 program start.

International Applicant Requirements

English Proficiency Scores (TOEFL or IELTS)

Applicants must submit a valid TOEFL or IELTS score. Exceptions to the English standardized exams are listed at Georgia Tech Graduate Education English Proficiency Requirements.

TOEFL scores are valid for two years and the minimum score requirement is 95 on the TOEFL internet-based test (iBT). IELTS score must be a minimum of 7.

Transcripts

All applicants must hold a U.S. bachelor's degree or equivalent to be considered for admission. A three-year degree is not equivalent to a U.S. bachelor's degree. Neither professional designations nor work experience will count toward the fourth year of study. We're unable to make exceptions to this policy.

Georgia Tech Graduate Education requires the following documents from international applications:

  • Official native language transcripts
  • Official English translation of native language transcript
  • Official native language degree documents
  • Official English translation of the native language degree documents

Official transcripts and degree documents must be submitted at the time of application and Georgia Tech Georgia Tech Graduate Education will evaluate them. Georgia Tech Georgia Tech Graduate Education does not accept any private evaluation of academic documents.
