Marketing Concentration Panel
Marketing is the communication about a product or service, with the purpose of encouraging recipients
of the communication to purchase or use the product or service. Marketing is also the process of
planning and executing the conception, pricing, promotion and distribution of ideas, goods, and services
to satisfy customers. It involves discovering what customers want, then setting out to meet their needs.
Marketing is everywhere and in everything. The field exists to determine and satisfy needs of others,
whether it’s the client, company, or customer. The goal in the business marketing industry is to meet
and satisfy the needs of the customer/client/company by best understanding the market and doing it
better than the competition for the long term. How to meet these needs is where the different areas of
marketing come into play.
