Biography

Kristin serves as a Content Strategist at the Scheller College, a position she’s grown in since May 2022. At the Scheller College, Kristin launched the M.S. Major in Management programs, crafting and executing strategic go-to-market-strategies that exceeded enrollment goals. She writes stories about students, faculty, and staff and the exciting work they engage in at home and abroad. She works with partner organizations to market the Undergraduate and MBA programs, leading email campaigns, story creation, and event planning. Internally, Kristin leads projects aimed at furthering a culture of collaboration and comradery at Scheller.

Kristin has extensive freelance marketing and communications experience working with clients in the education, health, travel, and non-profit sectors. She loves writing because it allows her to be curious about people and places, to question her biases, and keep lifelong learning in the forefront of daily living. Writing human-centered, truth-telling stories brings her joy.

Kristin earned a B.A. in English from Brigham Young University and an M.F.A. in Narrative Nonfiction Writing from the University of Georgia’s Grady College of Journalism.
