His research papers are published in top finance and management journals including, Review of Financial Studies, Journal of Financial Economics, Management Science, and Review of Finance. His work has been cited by popular press including Wall Street Journal, National Affairs, Real Clear Public Affairs, American Experiment, and Cato Research Brief. He received various best paper awards for his research work. He has taught courses at undergraduate, postgraduate, and PhD levels. He also received an institute-level teaching excellence award given to only 50 professors by Georgia Tech every year.

Dr. Singh received his PhD in 2016 from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, Hong Kong. He holds a bachelor's degree and a master's degree with an emphasis in Economics from the University of Delhi. His teaching interests are in corporate finance, corporate restructuring, and valuing technology firms. His research interests include corporate finance, tax policies, small business, and human capital.
