Dr. Park’s research focuses on two main areas: employee voice and proactivity, and social class and status dynamics. In her first stream of research, she examines why organizations often don’t reward employees for speaking up, what prevents employees from speaking up, and how employees can stay proactive at work. Her second stream of research explores how social class and status dynamics affect people’s experiences and behaviors at the workplace. Her research appears in outlets such as the Journal of Applied Psychology, Organizational Behavior and Human Decision Processes, and Harvard Business Review, and has won the SIOP S. Rains Wallace Dissertation Award and the Academy of Management Best Paper Award.
