Mr. Martin spent 15 years working in different industries, performing various roles such as engineering manager, director of product management, and head of operations for a global clean energy firm. He incorporates his valuable real-world examples into the classroom.
Mr. Martin has been with Georgia Tech for five years. He teaches undergraduate and graduate-level courses, including Operations Management, Supply Chain Modeling, Service Operations, Management of Technology, and Operations Strategy.
Mr. Martin also teaches an Executive Education Lean Six Sigma Green Belt professional education course, a Georgia Tech Freshman Orientation Course, and serves as faculty advisor for the Graduate Operations Management Society and Buddy Jackets (a student organization focused on mentoring students at Boys and Girls Clubs in Atlanta). Mr. Martin also is a faculty member of the Scheller Undergraduate Curriculum Committee.
