Professor Condie’s research interests lie at the intersection of auditing and financial reporting. Using archival methods, his research examines management disclosure, auditor assurance, and fraud. His teaching interests include auditing and financial accounting. During his doctoral program, he received several teaching awards from both the University of Wisconsin Department of Accounting and the Wisconsin School of Business.

Eric Condie is an Assistant Professor at the Scheller College of Business. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2017, his Master’s of Business Administration degree from Utah State University in 2003, and his Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Brigham Young University in 2000. Prior to pursuing an academic career, he was an audit senior manager with KPMG in Southern California.
