Professor Blann’s research focuses on financial accounting and auditing. Using archival methods, his research examines the causes and consequences of regulatory and standard-setting actions. His research has been published in Contemporary Accounting Research and featured on the Columbia Law School Blue Sky Blog on Corporations and the Capital Markets, and the Duke University School of Law FinReg Blog.

Assistant ProfessorBiography
Justin Blann is an Assistant Professor at the Scheller College of Business. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Arkansas in 2022, his Master of Accountancy from the University of Arkansas in 2018, and his Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and Finance from Southern Arkansas University in 2017. Prior to joining the Scheller faculty, he was a Postdoctoral Research Scholar at Arizona State University.
