What's something on your bucket list?
I want to run the Eco Challenge in Fiji.
What's your favorite place you've traveled to and why?
Kenya. I have been going back and forth to Kenya for the last 10+ years and it is a beautiful country with a rich culture and Kenyans are so kind and hospitable you can't help but want to go back!
Favorite family tradition:
We all go to a cabin in the mountains every December to celebrate Christmas together. As the family has grown it has only gotten better with time.
What is your proudest accomplishment?
When I was discharged out of the Army, they had a ceremony for me to celebrate my achievements and I was awarded an Army Commendation Medal for my service.
What did you want to be when you were small?
I wanted to be a mountain climber. I saw a picture in a Guinness World Records book about a free solo climb and that stuck in my head.

I have lived a simple life where I have consistently learned by failing forward time and time again.

My wife makes this poppy seed chicken casserole that is amazing. I request it way more than I should.
