dean steve salbuWhatever your career goals, technology is only becoming more important to the world of business. Therefore, understanding how to leverage it for competitive advantage can help distinguish you from graduates of other business schools.

The intersection of business and technology has always been at the heart of the College. Our nationally ranked business school can teach you how to take advantage of the many business opportunities made possible by emerging technologies and to succeed in an increasingly global economy.

We offer top-notch programs at the Undergraduate, MBA, and PhD levels as well as customizable Executive Education programs for industry.

In recent years, a $50 million gift from alumnus Ernest Scheller Jr. (IM 1952) – including a successful $20 million dollar-for-dollar matching Challenge Grant designed to inspire alumni giving – more than tripled the College’s endowment. This led to a new name for our College and greatly expanded funding and educational opportunities for our students and faculty.

What this means for you is that there has never been a better time to become a part of our collaborative College community, build your network through our impressive roster of students and alumni, and prepare yourself for a world of career possibilities.Building our world-renowned faculty and attracting top-notch students to our prestigious programs has been the most rewarding phase of my career to date. After completing my eighth year as dean, I will transition in summer 2014 to focus on my research, leading the College’s new Cecil B. Day Program in Business Ethics.

Fortunately, the College is well-positioned to attract a new leader who will take us to the next level of prestige and excellence. Great things lie ahead for Scheller College of Business.

We encourage you to visit our distinctive learning community in person to see what sets us apart.
