Our Business Freshmen are:

• Students who are academically strong (middle 50% of SAT range for 2010 freshman class was 1210-1395) and also very involved with extracurricular activities in their high schools.
• Students who are ready for an academic challenge and who have already started to build their leadership skills through high school organizations like student government, community service, athletics, business-related student clubs, and student media. 
• Budding leaders who want to continue to develop their leadership potential through our program and student clubs and move on to successful careers and leadership positions in business.
• Emerging entrepreneurs who seek a training ground and like-minded students in preparation for new ventures.  Seven percent of our recent graduating class indicated their intentions to start their own businesses after graduation.  We encourage young entrepreneurs to get involved in our annual Business Plan Competition, which brings students from across campus together to learn how to transform an idea into a fundable business opportunity.
