Most Scheller College of Business sponsored Scholarship and Awards are allocated spring semester. When an opportunity becomes available, it will be posted on this website.  All applicants must be current Georgia Tech Undergraduate College of Business students. 

Recently open applications had the deadline of February 18, 2013 at 4pm.

Eligible Student Criteria

Jennifer R. and Charles B. Rewis Award for Excellence in Accounting

  • Georgia Resident
  • Accounting Concentration
  • 3.0 or higher cumulative GPA
  • Junior or Senior 
  • Exceptional academic performance in the area of accounting
  • Intends to pursue a career in accounting

Smith & Howard Accounting Excellence Prize

  • Accounting Concentration
  • 3.0 or higher cumulative GA 
  • Junior or Senior 
  • Exceptional grades in accounting courses
  • At least ACCT 2101, ACCT 2102 and two other accounting courses completed
  • Preference for competition of an accounting internship, but not required
  • Pursuing an accounting career

Naresh Malhotra Scholarship

  • Marketing Concentration
  • Minimum GPA of 3.5 in all marketing courses
  • Taken market research (MGT 3310) and received an “A”
  • Junior or Senior
  • Interest in the area of Marketing Research

The ConocoPhillips Scholarship

  • Finance Concentration
  • 3.0 or better cumulative GPA
  • junior or senior 
  • Interest in the area of finance or quantitative trading strategy

The Lockheed Martin Scholarship

Awarded in fall, 2012.  Application closed

  • Any Business Concentration
  • Sophomore, Junior or Senior
  • Strong interest in pursuing an internship or employment in the aerospace/defense industry 

The John R. Battle Award for Student Excellence

  • Any Business Concentration
  • 3.0 or higher cumulative GPA 
  • Senior 
  • Holds leadership roles on campus 
  • Excellent history of involvement and service to Georgia Tech and the community

The Dow Chemical – P.C. McCutcheon Prize for Outstanding Achievement in Business

  • Any Business Concentration
  • 3.0 or higher cumulative GPA
  • Juniors 
  • Holds leadership roles on campus 
  • Excellent history of involvement and service to Georgia Tech and the community

The Chambless Wilberne McGill Perseverance Prize

  • Any Business Concentration
  • 2.5 or higher cumulative GPA
  • Junior or Senior 
  • Demonstration of having overcome extreme hardship as a Tech student.

Evergreen Scholarship

  • Any Business Concentration
  • 3.0 or higher cumulative GPA 
  • Less than 100 earned credit hours (including AP, IB and transfer) at time of application process. 
  • Employed while attending school (e.g. Federal Work Study, Internship, COOP, etc).
  • Has financial need. The Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid will verify this information based on a student’s FAFSA application
