Accounting | Entrepreneurship | Finance | International Management | Information Technology Management | Marketing | Operations Management | Business Law and Ethics | Certificate Overview

Certificates:

  • Certificates are only available to degree-seeking Georgia Tech undergraduates.
  • Certificates are optional for Management majors and for Business Administration Majors.
  • They include advanced coursework offered in specific management areas and are designed to allow students to gain expertise.
  • Earning certificates enhances a student's marketability for employment.
  • A certificate consists of a minimum of 12 credit hours of courses beyond the basic required courses per certificate area.
  • BSBA students only may use one course to fulfill a concentration requirement and to fulfill a requirement for a MGT certificate. For instance, the International Marketing class can be used toward the Marketing concentration and the International Management certificate. Students may only exercise this option once.
  • BSBA students cannot earn a certificate and a concentration in the same area.
  • Technology & Management students may not use Engineering & Management minor courses toward any certificate at Tech, including MGT certificates.
