Georgia Tech Scheller College of Business is ranked 27th (10th among public universities) for full-time MBA programs and 24th for part-time programs in U.S. News & World Report's latest rankings.

The magazine, which publishes the rankings each April in a special edition guidebook titled America's Best Graduate Schools, surveyed more than 400 U.S. MBA programs accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business.

Scheller College climbed five spots over last year in the full-time category and four spots in the part-time category.

“We’re pleased that our jump in these rankings reflects the overall trajectory of our business school,” says Scheller Dean Steve Salbu. “We’re working hard on many fronts to take our College to the next level of prestige and excellence, becoming the world’s preeminent school for business and technology.”

In specialty categories, U.S. News ranked Tech 13th for Supply Chain/Logistics (first among schools in Georgia), 14th for Production/Operations (first among schools in the Southeast), and 16th for Information Systems.

U.S. News determined its full-time rankings by surveying business school deans, MBA program directors, and corporate recruiters/contacts about the quality of each accredited program. The magazine also factored in the mean starting salaries, bonuses, and employment rates of graduates.

In the most recent Bloomberg BusinessWeek ranking, Tech's full-time MBA program is ranked 23^rd (8th^th among public universities).
