Tech’s IMPACT Speaker Series
will feature Chris Curtis, CEO of Schneider Electric (North America),
discussing the importance of sustainable business practices on Wednesday, Feb. 13.
Curtis,
whose lecture is titled "Sustainability Matters; Everyone Needs to Get Off
the Sidelines," will speak at 4:30 p.m. in LeCraw Auditorium of the
Georgia Tech Scheller College of Business (800 West Peachtree Street). Prior to the lecture, from 3:30 to 4:15 p.m., Curtis will meet and greet with students
outside Room 200, with snacks provided.
Free
and open to the public, the IMPACT series brings notable business executives,
high-tech entrepreneurs, and intellectual leaders to the College.
Curtis
leads Schneider Electric's North American division, which provides solutions to
make energy safe, reliable, efficient, productive, and green. The company's
products and services include processes control and supervision, power supply
and distribution, energy monitoring and control, and utility management, among
others.
