Georgia Tech College of Management’s IMPACT Speaker Series will feature Veronica Biggins, managing director of Diversified Search LLC, on Wednesday, Feb. 1.
Biggins, whose lecture is titled “It’s Your Life Story,” will speak at 4:30 p.m. in LeCraw Auditorium of the College of Management (800 West Peachtree Street).
Also a board member of Southwest Airlines, Biggins heads the board practice for Diversified Search. She was previously a managing partner with Hodge Partners and Heidrick & Struggles.
She served as an assistant to the President of the United States under Bill Clinton. In that role, she was responsible for selecting and hiring all political appointees within the federal government.
Prior to joining the White House, Biggins was one of the highest ranking women in the banking industry, serving as executive vice president for corporate community relations at NationsBank.
Free and open to the public, the IMPACT Series brings notable business executives, high-tech entrepreneurs, venture capitalists, and intellectual leaders to the College.
Other speakers in the spring 2012 series include Daryl Dulaney, CEO of Siemens Industry; Meredith Rentz, CEO and president of Medshare; and Randy Olson, author of Don't Be Such a Scientist: Talking Substance in an Age of Style.
