Georgia Tech College of Management jumped 13 spots (to 37th) in Bloomberg BusinessWeek's latest national rankings of the top undergraduate programs in business.
Georgia Tech College of Management is 13th among public universities (and top among public schools in the State of Georgia).
Of the 400 accredited business schools in the nation, 142 were eligible for ranking in 2012. The rankings are based on surveys of recruiters and student satisfaction as well as job placement statistics and measures of academic quality.
Georgia Tech placed 22nd in the Recruiter category, 33rd for Student Satisfaction, and had a 95 percent job-placement rate (tied for the 6th highest among the top 50 schools).
"I am extremely proud of the excellent quality of the business school's undergraduate program. We're gratified that the rankings are increasingly reflecting all we have to offer students," says College of Managment Dean Steve Salbu.
Bloomberg BusinessWeek last ranked undergraduate business programs in 2010, when the College placed 50th.
The College is currently ranked 28th by U.S. News & World Report for best undergraduate business programs.
