Robin Bienfait, chief information officer of Research in Motion, will discuss the challenges she faces in helping ensure her company's long-term success on Wed. Nov. 14 in Georgia Tech's IMPACT Speaker Series.

Bienfait, whose lecture is titled "Leadership in Times of Great Change," will speak at 4:30 p.m. in LeCraw Auditorium of the Scheller College of Business (800 West Peachtree Street). Her lecture is free and open to the public.

Organized by Georgia Tech's Institute for Leadership and Entrepreneurship, the IMPACT Series brings notable business executives, high-tech entrepreneurs, venture capitalists, and intellectual leaders to the College.

In her role as RIM's chief information officer, Bienfait oversees the Enterprise Business Unit, BlackBerry Operations, Customer Service, and Corporate IT functions. A key component of her role is to manage the end-to-end global BlackBerry customer experience.

Prior to joining Research in Motion, Robin held senior leadership positions with AT&T in the Labs and Global Network Services lines of business. She holds a master’s degree in management of technology from the Georgia Tech Scheller College of Business.
