Georgia Tech's Scheller College of Business is ranked 23rd
(8th among public universities) in Bloomberg BusinessWeek's latest
rankings of the nation's top full-time MBA programs.
The top 30 U.S. schools and top 10 international programs
are highlighted in the November 19-25 print edition of the magazine. The full list
is available online.
Bloomberg BusinessWeek ranks top MBA programs every two
years. In
2010, Georgia Tech was also ranked 23rd nationally.
To determine its rankings, Bloomberg BusinessWeek surveys newly minted
MBAs and corporate recruiters and evaluates faculty research output.
"We're so happy that Georgia Tech's MBA, so new among competitors, continues so strongly in the top 25," says Dean Steve Salbu.
This year, Bloomberg
BusinessWeek included short videos of the top-ranked schools to give
prospective students a better sense of each school's distinctive features. For
Georgia Tech, video producers highlighted the TI:GER tech-transfer program,
which teams MBA and law students to work on commercializing the research of
participating PhD students. Tech's video is available here.
