Carl Nordgren will discuss "The Creative Populist Revolution" at 4:30 p.m.
Wednesday, Nov. 16 in the IMPACT Speaker Series.
Nordgren, an adjunct professor at Duke University and founder of Creativepopulist.com,
will speak in LeCraw Auditorium of the College of Management building (800 West
Peachtree Street). The event is free and open to the public.
Organized by Georgia Tech's Institute for Leadership and Entrepreneurship,
the weekly IMPACT Speaker Series brings notable business executives, high-tech
entrepreneurs, venture capitalists, and intellectual leaders to the College.
Nordgren's organization, Creativepopulist.com, promotes the importance of
everyone being creatively entrepreneurial. For the past 10 years, he has taught
courses in creative entrepreneurship at Duke. Nordgren recently started
Minogi.com to serve creatively entrepreneurial college students.
His experience in entrepreneurship includes cellular
telecommunications, advertising, and marketing. Considering himself a serial entrepreneur, Nordgren recently started a new consulting
practice (YourVeryBestStory.com) that promotes the transformative power of "story"
as a CEO leadership tool and effective marketing practice.
