The Boeing Company is the latest corporation to become a Corporate Affiliate of Georgia Tech's Denning Technology & Management Program.

Started in fall 2008, the Denning Technology & Management Program is a collaborative effort of the Colleges of Management, Engineering, Sciences and Computing that is designed to prepare a new generation of leaders who possess both managerial and technological know-how. Participating students from these schools form interdisciplinary teams and work together to develop comprehensive solutions to real-world problems sponsored by Corporate Affiliates, in addition to other coursework.

"We are very excited that The Boeing Company has decided to join the Denning Technology & Management Program," says program director Linda Oldham. "Boeing's dedication to hiring top talent for leadership tracks matches perfectly with the skills and career aspirations of our students.”

Boeing joins existing Corporate Affiliates Caterpillar, Cox Communications, Georgia-Pacific, Siemens, Newell-Recycling, and Interface.

Gina DeSimone, vice president of Boeing Information Solutions Division Operations and Georgia Tech Executive Focal, and Larry Schneider, vice president of Boeing Product Development, will represent the company on the Corporate Advisory Panel of the Denning Technology & Management Program. The panel provides strategic guidance for the program while building strong relationships with students.

Students enter the two-year program at the start of their junior year and pursue a prescribed course of study to earn a minor in technology and management. Their project for Corporate Affiliates is the capstone course.
