Georgia Tech College of Management will hold its Executive Education Alumni Recognition and Reunion event from 6:30 PM to 10 PM on Friday, February 12.
The event, which will be held in the Thornton Atrium of the College of Management building (800 West Peachtree Street), is for graduates of Executive Master's/Executive MBA programs of the College. It will feature special honoree Peter E. Quinones, president and CEO of MetroAtlanta Ambulance Service, who earned his Global Executive MBA in 2008.
Quinones has more than 25 years of experience in the healthcare industry. Since its start in 2001, his company has grown from a 10-employee operation with two ambulances to the largest privately owned ambulance service in the State of Georgia. MetroAtlanta Ambulance manages a fleet of more than 50 vehicles and more than 180 medics and support personnel.
In 2007, the company became one of only 136 ambulance services in the world and the first in the metro Atlanta area to receive accreditation from the Commission on Accreditation of Ambulance Services, the gold standard of quality service in the EMS industry.
