Georgia Tech College of Management's IMPACT Speaker Series will feature IBM’s Florence Hudson discussing, “Managing in a Complex World – Embracing Diversity and Innovation."

Hudson, who will speak at 4:30 PM in LeCraw Auditorium, is an energy and environment initiatives executive for IBM Corporate Strategy. She is responsible for strategies and execution plans for "green" solutions to help IBM clients improve their impact on energy and the environment worldwide.

She has held a variety of leadership positions at IBM, recently serving as vice president of marketing and strategy for IBM System z mainframes globally. Hudson was also an executive-on-loan and IBM vice president of strategic planning to the Society of Women Engineers, where she developed and executed new programs to inspire more girls and women to pursue careers in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics worldwide.

Held by the College of Management and the Institute for Leadership and Entrepreneurship, the weekly IMPACT series provides Georgia Tech students, alumni, and members of the Atlanta community a free opportunity to network and learn from high-tech entrepreneurs, venture capitalists, and notable business leaders.
