 The College won Gold Tower Awards for Brochures, Innovative Use of Technology and New Media, and Websites.

The College of Management's communications and marketing team won several honors in Georgia Institute of Technology's inaugural Gold Tower Awards for communications excellence across campus.
The team won the Gold Tower (first place) in the following categories:
- Brochures, Catalogs, Viewbooks, Handbooks, and Guides for the 2008-09 MBA Viewbooks (Full-time and Evening).
- Innovative Use of Technology and New Media for the Virtual Tour of the College of Management Building on the school's Website.
- Websites for the Executive MBA Website and Microsite .
In addition, our team received the Award of Excellence (first runner up) for the 2008 Dean’s Report.
"Congratulations and thanks to our communications and marketing team, and those who worked with them to achieve these accolades," says College of Management Dean Steve Salbu.
Staff members who worked on these projects include Hope Wilson, Brad Dixon, Joe Macri, Laurie Butler, Jennifer Sullivan, and Paula Wilson.
For these awards, more than 90 entries were received from 32 units across campus.
The Gold Tower Awards program provides a way to recognize the best work of campus communicators on an annual basis.
