Scheller, who will speak at 4:30 PM in LeCraw Auditorium, joined Silberline in 1987 and was appointed president and CEO in 1997.

Based in Pennsylvania, Silberline is a global supplier of high quality special effect and performance pigments that enhance the visual appeal of coatings, paints, inks, plastics, and textiles. Under Scheller's leadership, the company made a product line acquisition in 1999, expanded its manufacturing into Asia in 2005, and opened representative offices in Mexico (2006) and Shanghai, China (2007).

It has also won numerous honors on her watch, including the 2000 Job Creator of the Year Award for the Northeastern Region of Pennsylvania and a 2004 Manufacturing Excellence Award from the Manufacturers Resource Center, a not-for-profit affiliate of Lehigh University.

Held by the College of Management and the Institute for Leadership and Entrepreneurship, the weekly IMPACT series provides Georgia Tech students, alumni, and members of the Atlanta community a free opportunity to network and learn from high-tech entrepreneurs, venture capitalists, and notable business leaders.
