Georgia Tech's IMPACT Speaker Series returns August 27 with a lecture by Andy Fleming, founding principal of Core Growth Partners.
Fleming, who will speak at 4:30 PM in LeCraw Auditorium, will discuss "The Pursuit of Purpose: Reflections from an Executive Coach."
Held by the College of Management and the Institute for Leadership and Entrepreneurship, the weekly IMPACT series provides Georgia Tech students, alumni, and members of the Atlanta community a free opportunity to network and learn from high-tech entrepreneurs, venture capitalists, and notable business leaders.
Fleming brings more than 20 years of corporate and consulting experience to leading companies. Throughout his career, Fleming has coached hundreds of CEOs, senior executives, and "high potentials" to achieve significantly greater levels of performance while operating from a deeper sense of purpose and commitment. He has played a central role in creating and implementing large scale leadership development institutes and initiatives for numerous organizations.
Fleming's background includes corporate and consulting roles with Procter & Gamble, Aetna, and The Hay Group. He also spent five years directing professional and undergraduate programming in Ethics and Servant Leadership at Emory University's Center for Ethics. He is the author of two books on life-work choices (Getting Ahead without Losing Heart and Backing down the Ladder).
