Sandra A. Slaughter and Chris Forman are moving from Carnegie Mellon's Tepper School of Business to join the information technology management faculty of Georgia Tech College of Management. They will start this month.

"Our remarkable success in faculty recruiting over the past year has moved us closer to achieving our goal of becoming the world's preeminent business school for management and technology."
Professor Slaughter will hold Georgia Tech's Costley Chair in Information Technology Management. She has published more than 80 articles in leading research journals, conference proceedings, and books, as well as serving as a senior editor for Information Systems Research and Production and Operations Management. She was recently named departmental editor (information systems) of Management Science. Her work has received seven best paper awards at major conferences.
Forman, assistant professor of information technology management, holds a Sloan Industry Studies Fellowship from the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation. Associate editor of Information Systems Research and the Journal of the Association for Information Systems, Forman has authored articles published or forthcoming in such journals as Management Science, MIS Quarterly, and the Journal of Management Information Systems.
