Earn a Georgia Tech Certificate in General Management

Georgia Tech College of Management's Huang Executive Education Center is now offering a Certificate in General Management. Business professionals can earn it by taking four out of the eight two-day executive education workshops offered by the center. Topics for 2007 include:

. Negotiation Skills: Conflict Resolution and Influencing Others

. The Art and Science of Leadership

. The Six Sigma Champion: Role and Responsibilities

. Strategic Innovation to Drive Organic Growth

. Strategy Execution: The Most Critical Leadership Competency

. Applied Change Management: Effectively Implementing Change

. Marketing Strategies: Building Brands and Driving Sales

The College of Management also works closely with clients to develop customized executive development programs as well as certificate programs in General Management, Innovation Leadership, and Project Management.

The Huang Center is pleased to announce that GE Healthcare is a new custom executive education client. "We have been chosen to be their university partner in the design and delivery of their new Advanced Technical Leadership Program," says Dan Stotz, director of executive programs. At the end of the three-week program (held in the Management building, Boston and Milwaukee), participating GE engineers and technologists will receive a Georgia Tech Certificate in Innovation Leadership.
