Georgia Tech College of Management

Gift Enhancing Beauty of Management Building

Management building
The interior of the College of Management building is growing greener.

Dominated by glass and metal, the College of Management's state-of-the-art modern structure is getting accented with plenty of greenery, thanks to the generosity of alumnus Gary Jones, GMGT '71, and his wife, Libby.

To honor the arrival of new Dean Steve Salbu, the Joneses recently donated $15,000 to the business school's beautification fund for the addition of new plants in brushed-steel holders throughout the building. The Joneses previously made another $15,000 donation for the first phase of the building's beautification process.

Gary Jones, retired managing director of Credit Suisse First Boston, contributes much to the Georgia Tech community. A former member of the College of Management's Advisory Board who was inducted into the school's alumni Hall of Fame, Jones serves on the Georgia Tech Foundation Board of Trustees, among other activities. He and his wife funded the Gary T. and Elizabeth R. Jones Chair in Management, and the College dedicated the Gary T. and Elizabeth R. Jones Career Center in their honor.
