In addition to the overall ranking, the 2006 survey listed Georgia Tech as the thirty-fifth best value for the money (a thirteen-point jump since last year) and thirty-eighth in job-placement success.
Nearly 150 schools competed for the top 100. Of those ranked, fifty-seven are based in the United States, twenty-seven in Europe, seven in Canada, two in South America, two in Australia, two in China, one in Mexico, one in South Africa, and one in Singapore.
The College of Management has received confirmation of its high quality from a number of other publications in recent years. In the latest rankings of U.S. News & World Report, Georgia Tech's MBA program is thirty-second nationally while the undergraduate program is thirty-fifth.
