Georgia Tech Rises in Rankings of World's Best MBA Programs

The Financial Times recently ranked Georgia Tech's College of Management eighty-fourth out of the world's top 100 full-time MBA programs, a ten-position jump since last year's survey.

In addition to the overall ranking, the 2005 survey listed the College as the forty-eighth best value for the money and thirty-second in graduates' career progress.

Nearly 150 schools competed for the top 100. Of those ranked, fifty-eight are from the United States, fourteen from the United Kingdom, seven from Canada, and three each from China, France, and Spain.

The College of Management has received confirmation of its high quality from a number of other publications in recent years. In September 2004, Business 2.0 magazine ranked the Georgia Tech MBA program among the top twenty-five in the country. Forbes magazine's latest listings of the top US MBA programs ranked the College ninth among public universities and twenty-ninth overall out of sixty-seven programs. Both the College's undergraduate and MBA programs rank in the top fifty national programs (out of America's approximately 421 accredited business programs, 365 of which offer an MBA) listed by U.S. News & World Report and Business Week.
