Georgia Tech's Business School Ranked 6th in Nation for IT Specialty

Georgia Tech Scheller College of Business is ranked 6th in the nation for the Information Technology (IT) specialty, according to Bloomberg BusinessWeek.

Last fall, Bloomberg BusinessWeek ranked Georgia Tech 23rd in the nation (8th among public universities) in its rankings of the nation's top full-time MBA programs. Over the next few weeks, Bloomberg BusinessWeek will publish other specialty rankings after starting with IT.

The IT ranking is based on students responses to a survey asking them to rank their program's coverage of IT.

"This is our highest IT Management ranking yet, reflecting hiring and retention of remarkably talented faculty in this area," says Scheller College Dean Steve Salbu.

For the top ten list of business schools' IT performance, visit Bloomberg BusinessWeek's ranking page.

In Demand: Recruit Our MBAs before Other Companies Do

Scheller College's Full-time MBAs continue to be very competitive in the marketplace, with 71 percent of the MBA Class of 2013 having received job offers. However, we still have a number of terrific students seeking full-time and internship opportunities. If your business is looking for creative problem solvers with a strong collaborative spirit, then look to the Scheller College of Business to fill your talent needs.

Our first-year students have aggressively marketed themselves, with 45 percent of the class already having internships or offers for the summer.

All of our students are continuing the tradition of ringing the bell in the Jones MBA Career Center to celebrate their success when they accept a position (like Mark Toburen, above, who accepted a consulting position with North Highland).
