Georgia Tech Scheller College of Business jumped four spots (to 37th) in Bloomberg BusinessWeek's latest national rankings of the top undergraduate programs in business.
Scheller is 12th among public universities (and top among public schools in the State of Georgia).
This year, Bloomberg Businessweek ranked 132 of the approximately 400 accredited undergraduate business programs in the country. Its rankings are based on five components: student assessment, academic quality metrics, employer opinion, median starting salary, and a "feeder school" score (which reflects how many students undergrad programs send to top MBA programs).
Scheller got A+ grades for both Job Placement and Teaching Quality.
"I am extremely proud of the excellent quality of the business school's undergraduate program. We're gratified that the rankings are increasingly reflecting all we have to offer students," says Dean Steve Salbu.
Scheller College is currently ranked 27th by U.S. News & World Report for best undergraduate business programs.
