Georgia Tech Scheller College of Business recently rose to 35th in Forbes magazine’s ranking of the nation’s top Full-time MBA programs.
The magazine, which ranks MBA programs every two years, listed Tech at 43rd in 2011. Forbes bases this ranking solely on return on investment.
For the 2013 ranking, Forbes surveyed the class of 2008 regarding its members’ pre- and post-MBA compensation, career choice, and location. The magazine compared alumni earnings in the first five years out of business school to the opportunity cost (two years of forgone salary, tuition, and fees).
“We’re pleased that our jump in this ranking reflects the tremendous value of an MBA education at Georgia Tech Scheller College of Business,” says Dean Steve Salbu. “We’ve made great progress in our mission to become the world’s preeminent school for business and technology.”
