Develop a global mindset. Distinguish yourself from the generalists. Think strategically in an ever-changing global economy and give yourself a competitive advantage.
International business includes a broad range of microeconomic and macroeconomic topics that are critical to gaining an understanding of the global economic marketplace in which businesses operate. A broader perspective of the global economy paves the way for unprecedented career growth in most of today's leading multinational companies.
Choose from a variety of interdisciplinary courses preparing you to lead in a global environment. You'll gain the ability to identify cross-cultural distinctions (and the ability to consider and manage these distinctions), learn to navigate across varying regulatory and legal regimes, while optimizing firm strategy. You will also grow your analytical skills to describe, explain, and integrate sudden international shifts into a strategic advantage in various settings.
Our International Business curriculum is enhanced by the Georgia Tech Center for International Business Education and Research (GT CIBER), located in the Scheller College of Business. Funded by the U.S. Department of Education, its mission is to ensure the long-term international economic competitiveness of the United States through support of research, business education initiatives, and corporate outreach activities.
