In September 1993, the College of Management received a federal grant to create a national resource Center for International Business Education and Research.
CIBER serves as a catalyst for the College to integrate and advance a number of diverse activities relating to international business education and research, language training, international student and faculty exchanges, and executive education for the business community.
The Center provides a strong basis of support for students, faculty, and research in international business and seeks to strengthen ties with the European Community, South America, Japan, and China, as well as to improve business-related expertise in those areas.
