Enhancing business knowledge

“I knew that the Executive MBA in Global Business (EMBA-GB) was an investment I needed to make,” Elizabeth Bacon says. “As our manufacturers move to China, we need to gain a better understanding of this shift.”

Bacon, President of Il Vino Imports and Vice President of Mr. Electric of West Central Georgia, needed formal business training to take her companies to the next level.

While Bacon learned a lot about cross-cultural communications during previous international assignments, the EMBA-GB program "provided the international business knowledge I needed to move my companies forward," Bacon says. "And, I was able to use this knowledge immediately."

"I've already seen a tremendous return on my investment," says Bacon, who graduated in December 2008. “Georgia Tech is providing business leaders with the opportunity to advance in the global business arena, and I’m excited to be a part of it.”
